Functions - Skills - Topics - Forms - Lexis - Competency

The Terakki Language Learning Continuum (TLLC) is envisioned to be the broadest expression of the Terakki English Program's curricular goals. In this document, we will describe four separate stages of student language attainment in our program, beginning with A1 and going through B2. Each stage of the TLLC will feature an overview of the new objectives and language areas to be covered at that particular stage. These areas include functions, skills, topics, forms, competency, and vocabulary. Ultimately, it is our hope that the TLLC may provide a brief and easily referenced overview of the program that will be highly accessible to teachers, administrators, parents, etc.

The following file is a copy of the most up-to-date version of the B1 level of the TLLC, which at this point should be viewed as a tentative sample of what each stage of the TLLC will look like. As we continuously refine the longer lists of functions, skills, etc., the TLLC will of course reflect these changes. Thus, we will not work on the A1, A2, and B2 stages until those lists have been set.
